Hello readers! I wanted to share the work of Rachel Denny with you. I have had a photograph of one of her cable-knit deer heads saved in my 'good stuff' folder for a long time, and although I loved it, I had no idea where I had found it, or who it was by.
Today, I happily came across her work again, and this time I am not going to forget her name. I don't know why, but there is something about wall mounted stag heads that I like. Unfortunately, I'm kind of put off by how gross it is to actually have a dead animal's head on your wall, so these knitted versions allow me to wallow in the joys of taxidermy without the grossness. Her work is made from wood, foam & wool.
