Projection Ring

How amazing is this projection ring? It was designed by Luke Jerram as a wedding ring for his wife. The ring comes with a selection of slides that can be slotted into the side, and when the light from a candle or LED is shone through, the images are projected. As Jerram's family grows, photos of his children can be added to the ring, it's such a lovely idea!

It's not just the wedding ring that is amazing either, the engagement ring he gave her has his recorded proposal etched onto it, and the message can be played back with a miniature record player he has created. These are probably 2 of the most amazing rings i have ever seen!

Rings, rings, rings

I've had a few people asking me to make some more rings for the shop, so here they are! Simple and colourful, to brighten up your outfits :) All £4 and available from the shop.

Patterned Tights

I've just come across these amazing patterned tights by French designers 'Les Queues de Sardines' (translation: tails of sardines). I particularly love the weather themed ones!
They are screen printed by hand and available at a whole host of designer shops in France. Unfortunately I do not live in France, nor do i have the budget for designer hand screen printed tights, so here is my pick of some more affordable alternatives!:

Coloured Dot Tights, £16, Tabio

Corset Tights, $10, Sock Dreams

Saylor Tights, £39.95, Bebaroque

Peacock tights, $23, etsy

Clever Chairs

At first when I saw these chairs, I thought they had defied gravity by standing on 2 legs. In actual fact, that is exactly what the designers at Duffy London want you to think, but what seems to be the shadow is actually part of the chair! Very Clever!

Five Things I Like Mondays

I have decided that a regular weekly post might be a good idea to keep me updating this blog frequently. 'Five Things I Like Mondays' will hopefully be exactly what the title suggests, a selection of 5 different things i enjoy, each with a nice image to illustrate it. Here is my first lot!:

Clever Graffiti

Tree Houses

Vintage Cameras

Origami Cranes

Beautiful Shoes

I have just found the most amazing pair of shoes and they are sold out :(

Possibly for the best though as they would have worked out at around £76 including shipping... I'm very tempted to find a similar pair of shoes that can act of a blank canvas for me to add colourful bows to though, they are just so beautiful!

For anyone that is interested, the shoes are from modcloth
