Note to self: update the blog!

I have decided to make a late new years resolution to update this blog more often.
For the first update, i give you this recipe for a 5 minute chocolate cake in a mug!

Take a large coffee mug and put into it: 2 tablespoons of self-raising flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Mix together and add 1 egg. Mix well until everything is combined and add 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Put the mug in the microwave and cook on 'High' for three minutes. The cake will rise really high out of the mug, but when you stop the microwave it will sink down again, so don't panic! Now, sit back, relax, and indulge.

quick update...

I am really terrible at updating the blog!

At the moment i seem to be really busy. I've just started a new college course which is taking up a lot of my time. I've also been doing some craft fairs in and around Manchester which i should really blog about so people know about them! On top of that, Christmas orders seem to be coming in already so i barely have time to think, but i am hopefully going to have a bit of a re-vamp of the website soon including some new designs, but at this rate it might be the new year before everything is sorted!

Tuesday Afternoon Tea

The image above is a print i recently bought from this etsy shop. Screen printed in black ink on heavyweight cartridge paper, this print has been stained with inks, bleached and worked back over with oil pastels and pencils to create a wonderful depth of colour and texture. Although the gocco design is the same, each print becomes unique as different inks and oil pastels are added on top.

There are some cute things there, and the seller also has a blog you should have a look at :)
